We were thrilled that Sunlight Entertainment approached us about designing and developing the new Ryan’s World website. They were interested in capturing a design that allowed them to feature their various projects, Youtube channels, cartoon characters, internal careers, and partners.
We began by creating written documentation and a UX prototype designed in Sketch. With approval, we moved forward with a custom build that provides Sunlight Entertainment administrators the ability to add new projects, Youtube channels, characters, job posts, merchandise outlets, and company partners – all through a simple interface.
The build also includes embedded background videos that autoplay on hover, smooth CSS & Javascript animations that allow sections to fade in as the user scrolls through a page, and a custom Youtube API integration. Our client just has to provide a Youtube channel ID and the application takes care of the rest!
